New Delhi: A 17-year-old boy, who had recently come out of an observation home, died after being stabbed multiple times in the Sangam Vihar area of south Delhi on Friday, the police said. The victim was identified as Irfan. There were multiple stab injuries on his body. The police said they were investigating the reason behind the killing.

Roads collapse in east, north Delhi

New Delhi: Portions of two roads collapsed in Trilokpuri and Guru Teg Bahadur Marg that resulted in traffic in the areas, the police said on Friday. The road caved in at Trilokpuri late Thursday evening. In a purported video taking rounds on social media, a rickshaw was seen stuck in the debris inside the caved-in portion. A cop said the road was repaired and normal traffic movement was resumed.

Fire at house in Vikaspuri

New Delhi: A fire broke out at a house in West Delhi’s Vikaspuri area here on Friday. A call regarding the fire was received at 5.50 pm and three fire tenders were pressed into service. The blaze was doused within an hour, an official of the Delhi Fire Service said. No one was injured in the incident.
