New Delhi: A fire broke out at an impounding yard of the Delhi Police located in Wazirabad area on Friday, damaging at least 125 seized vehicles. Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot, a Delhi Fire Services official said, adding that they got a call regarding the blaze at 2.49 pm. “About 60 four-wheelers and about 65 two-wheelers have been damaged,” a senior police officer said. Asst engineer held for graft
Palwal: The Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested an Assistant Environment Engineer (AEE) for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 5.5 lakh from a brick-kiln owner. A case under the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered. The ACB team laid a trap and caught one Yogesh taking the bribe from the complainant on Friday. It was claimed that Yogesh had allegedly been deputed by the AEE, identified as Randeep Singh, to take the bribe on
