New Delhi: After monitoring the activities of a 23-year-old man on social media, the Delhi Police arrested him for carrying illegal firearms, an official said on Tuesday. The accused, Rohit, was apprehended near BRT Road in the Ambedkar Nagar area of South Delhi with a single-shot country-made pistol and a live cartridge in his possession. Rohit was released from jail in November last year. Rohit posted a picture of himself brandishing an illegal weapon on the social media to assert dominance among the public.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
