New Delhi: Indraprastha (IP) University’s Dwarka campus is gearing up for its 23rd annual cultural extravaganza, Anugoonj 24, from February 8 to 10. Actor Manoj Kumar Tiwary and kathak dancer Shovana Narayan will inaugurate the event. Manpreet Kaur Kang, Director of Students’ Welfare, anticipates participation from thousands of students from the university’s 115 affiliated institutes. The event’s finale will feature singing sensation Jubin Nautiyal.

IGNOU RC buildings inaugurated

Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan virtually inaugurated the Regional Centre (RC) buildings of IGNOU. Praising its digital infrastructure, Pradhan highlighted its capacity to extend education worldwide and potential to become a global digital university. He said, “The inauguration of RC buildings marks a significant milestone in our mission to enhance IGNOU’s global outreach.”

Non-teaching posts at IIT-Delhi

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, recruitment exams-2023 for non-teaching posts on February 24. As per the official notification, the examination will be held for technical officer, junior technical officer and technical assistant positions. The exams will be held exclusively in Noida and admit cards will be issued three days prior to the examination date.

Delhi Govt school admissions

The Delhi Education Directorate has released the schedule for admissions into government schools for classes 6 to 9. , The admissions are slated to commence on April 1 and conclude on May 10. Applicants are advised to ensure possession of essential documents, including a passport-sized photograph, birth certificate, Aadhar card, residence certificate and parents’ Aadhar cards, as per the notification issued by the Delhi Education Directorate.
