The 24th edition of IP University’s highly anticipated annual cultural festival, ‘Anugoonj 25’, is set to kick off on February 24 at the university's Dwarka campus. The three-day extravaganza will run until February 26, promising a vibrant celebration of art, culture and music.

The festival will be inaugurated by renowned figures, including actor Bindu Dara Singh, actress Ishita Chauhan, actor Rohit Chaudhary, and Madhav Kaushik, president of the Sahitya Akademi, on February 24.

Prof Manpreet Kaur Kang, director of the directorate of student welfare, said students from both Dwarka and East Delhi campuses, along with participants from around 110 affiliated institutes, would be taking part in the grand event. Over 50 diverse cultural and musical performances are scheduled throughout the festival, showcasing a range of talents.

This year, ‘Anugoonj 25’ introduces two exciting new events — cartooning and storytelling, further enriching the festival's offerings. The festival will also feature ‘Star Nights’ with performances by an EDM band on February 24, Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma on February 25 and playback singer Mohammad Irfan on February 26.

Vice-Chancellor of the university, Padma Shri recipient Prof Mahesh Verma, emphasised that the festival was aimed at spreading its influence far and wide, showcasing the university's commitment to fostering creativity and cultural exchange among its students.
