Jamia Millia Islamia announces PhD admission schedule for 2025–26

According to the university, online application forms will be available from October 20 to November 8. Candidates would have a two-day window, on November 9 and 10, to make any necessary edits to their submitted applications. Admit cards are scheduled to be issued on November 11, with the admission test to follow on November 15 and 16.

Results would be announced between November 27 and 29. Candidates must then submit their research proposals to the respective departments or centres by December 8. The list of candidates shortlisted for interviews, along with the interview schedule, will be published on December 9.

The interview and presentation round is set to take place from December 10 to 19. The final list of selected candidates would be displayed on December 22. Selected applicants are required to complete their admission formalities between December 23 and 30.

The university further announced that coursework classes for the new PhD batch would commence on January 13, 2026.
