Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has called the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections a 'dharamyudh', drawing a parallel with the legendary Mahabharata, as he urged party workers to gear up for a challenging but crucial fight. Speaking at a conference with district-level office-bearers in Chandni Chowk, Kejriwal expressed confidence that divine forces were supporting AAP, referring to the party’s unexpected victory in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) mayoral elections despite the BJP’s concerted efforts to take control."Like Mahabharata, this election is a dharmayudh, a righteous battle," Kejriwal told the gathering. "The forces of good are with us, as we witnessed during the MCD elections when we triumphed over BJP’s attempts."

Kejriwal directed the party's booth and district-level office-bearers to intensify their efforts, emphasising the need to organise at least 65,000 local meetings to effectively communicate AAP's message to every voter across the city. "You must reach every household, every individual, and make them aware of what AAP has done for Delhi," he said. “We are a small party with limited resources, but the BJP has never done anything for the people of Delhi. They have immense power and funds, but they lack the will to serve the people,” Kejriwal asserted.

He also called on his workers to focus on the party's collective mission rather than individual candidates. "Don’t focus on who gets the ticket; work as if I am contesting all 70 seats in Delhi," he told partymen.
