At the event, Tourist Information Officer S Sreekumar showcased Kerala’s new tourism initiatives and products, including caravan and heli-tourism, with plans to introduce seaplane tourism soon. “We have launched heli-tourism and are expanding caravan tourism with new parks across Kerala,” he told The Tribune.

The meet brought together tourism sellers from Kerala and buyers from Delhi, and concluded with a cultural programme highlighting Kerala’s performing arts. The event coincides with the upcoming sixth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, beginning December 12, one of the world’s leading contemporary art festivals that will run till March 31, 2026.

The state’s tourism department also shared that they recently hosted India’s first travel literary festival in Varkala, and had introduced India’s first woman-friendly tourism policy to promote solo and all-woman travel experiences led by women entrepreneurs.
