L-G dismisses DDA official for corruption

“The L-G has approved the dismissal of Rishi Patel, Assistant Section Officer, DDA, in a land allotment case in Safdarjung Enclave in year 2020. He has also asked the DDA to relook and review the punishment given to another employee, Paras Nath, Deputy Director (now retired). In the same matter, the Lieutenant Governor had earlier dismissed another DDA employee, Dilshad Ahmad,” read an officer order.
Rishi Patel, along with his colleagues, had allotted land worth crores of rupees in South Delhi’s Safdarjung Enclave on the basis of fictitious papers in connivance with the beneficiary.
