The deceased has been identified as Mohit Garg, a resident of Brahmpuri. The police are investigating the matter. They stated that the cause of the death is yet to be ascertained.

The police received information on Saturday evening about a man found unconscious at the hotel room.

After getting information, the police reached the spot and found Garg lying unconscious in the room. He was shifted to JPC Hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The body was shifted to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examination.

According to the police, Garg had checked into the hotel earlier in the day and hosted a party. After the gathering, he suddenly fell unconscious.

Garg’s family, however, claimed that they were the ones who took him to the hospital. “My son’s body was totally blue when we checked him. We feel that he was murdered,” said Vikas Jain, a family friend.

The victim’s father, Narender Kumar Garg, said: “I personally feel that my son was drugged and killed by those who were with him during the party.” He urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation and hold those responsible accountable.

The police are working to identify those who attended the party and question them to establish the sequence of events that led to Garg’s death.
