Additional Session Judge Saurabh Gupta sentenced Pradeep, a Dundahera village resident, to five years' rigorous imprisonment and fined him Rs 25,000 for snatching a mobile phone. The incident occurred on July 7, 2022 near Anand Farm, Sector 21. The victim filed a complaint with Palam Vihar police, who arrested Pradeep following their investigation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
