Over 458 kg of banned firecrackers were seized and a man arrested following a police raid in the Jaikampura area of Gurugram.

The arrested accused was identified as Harsh Arora, a resident of Jaikampura, Gurugram. According to the police, a total of 485 kg and 180 g of banned firecrackers were recovered from his possession. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Explosives Act at City Police Station.

“During police interrogation, it was revealed that the accused had brought the fireworks from Delhi with the intention of selling them. He had stored them in the basement of his rented house in Jaikampura. A further probe is underway,” said a spokesperson for Gurugram Police.
