The event saw the presence of Municipal Health Officer LR Verma, Zonal Deputy Commissioner Anshul Sirohi, local RWAs from Mukherjee Nagar and a large number of residents.

Speaking at the event, the Mayor stressed the need of public participation in curbing the rise of vector-borne diseases. “Dengue is a major challenge. Collective participation is required to combat it,” he said, adding that anti-malaria operations were already underway across the city through the Public Health Department.
