The Delhi government is set to introduce counselling services in all government schools, Education Minister Atishi directed the Directorate of Education (DoE) to draft a blueprint.

A pilot study was conducted across 20 schools, where over 20,000 students received counselling services over the past year.The pilot phase saw the involvement of Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselors (EVGC) and school psychologists who provided mental health support to students. Atishi took feedback to understand the challenges and successes of the initiative.
