Speaking at the event, Mishra said, “This is a wonderful experiment and initiative, which was very much needed in Delhi.” Thanking the organisers, he added that such job fairs will open new doors of opportunities for the youth.
Expressing concern over the employment situation in the city, Kapil Mishra said, “Due to the wrong policies of the previous government, youngsters migrate to Gurugram and Noida for jobs. We want the youth to work in their own city and get employment here. We promise to provide good job opportunities to youth by giving them new skills and better education.”
He added that, “The government, in collaboration with the Centre, is working on a concrete action plan to revive employment and industries.”
Mishra further shared that the government will focus on pollution-free industries, service industries, Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics (AVGC), modern technology-based industries, and the tourism sector.
FLO representatives Neeta Boochra and Poonam Sharma were also present at the event.
