Sood said, “I heartily thank the CM for ensuring development works at Mahavir Enclave, Chanakya Place, Dayal Sar Road, Uttam Nagar, and several other areas of Janakpuri Assembly constituency. The CM has shown neither any shortage of funds nor the political will to spend money for the public good.”

He added that several upcoming projects would further accelerate the constituency’s development. “In the coming days, several projects will begin in Janakpuri, including new sewer pipelines, improvement of old lines, fresh drinking water pipelines, better power distribution systems and road repair or construction using modern technology,” he said.

Highlighting ongoing efforts, Sood mentioned, “Yesterday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated projects in Delhi worth over Rs 1,800 crore, and today, continuing that effort, road and related works worth crores have started in Janakpuri.”

Criticising previous administrations, the minister said, “For many years, the Janakpuri Assembly area suffered from neglect in terms of development. Previous governments neither tried to improve the living standards of people here nor provided basic amenities.”

He concluded, “We have neither a shortage of budget nor political will. We are spending public money honestly and systematically for the comprehensive development of Delhi.”
