A minor fire broke out at PVR Saket, Select Citywalk Mall, here, on Wednesday during the screening of a movie, an official said. The blaze was quickly brought under control and no one was injured.

“A short-circuit led to the fire. However, there was no damage and the situation was quickly brought under control,” the official said.

According to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), the fire broke out on the screen of Audi 3 inside the cinema hall. “Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze brought under control,” a DFS official said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind.
