Applications must be filed online by September 15, along with a non-refundable fee of ₹5,000 per paper. Students will also have to upload previous mark sheets and get departmental or institutional approval. The university has underlined that this provision is strictly a one-time measure and will not be offered again.

At the same time, DU has issued the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) schedule for undergraduate admissions in the 2025–26 academic year. According to the timeline, results for the upgradation round will be declared at 5 PM today. Candidates allotted upgraded seats must confirm them by August 23, while colleges will complete verification the same day. Fee payment for this round must be made by August 24.

Following this, a spot admission round will begin, with a list of vacant seats to be published on August 25. Applications will remain open until August 27, allotments will be announced on August 28, and candidates must confirm their seats by August 29, with fee submission closing on August 30.
