A grand musical presentation, “Mera Desh Pehle – The Untold Story of Shri Narendra Modi Ji”, was staged at Indira Gandhi Stadium, on Thursday. Supported by the Delhi Government’s Department of Art, Culture & Languages, the production traced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s journey from childhood to political leadership.

Conceptualised by lyricist and writer Manoj Muntashir, the performance combined music, stagecraft, and storytelling. Singer B Praak and other artistes presented musical renditions that sought to capture the Prime Minister’s challenges, vision, and rise in public life.

The event drew a high-profile audience, with BJP national president and Union minister JP Nadda, Delhi CCM Rekha Gupta, Delhi’s Minister of Art, Culture & Languages Kapil Mishra, and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva among those in attendance. Olympic medalists, Padma awardees, members of the judiciary, writers, artists, and representatives from sports and entertainment also joined.

Nadda said the musical had depicted “untold and unheard episodes” of the Prime Minister’s life and underlined his principle of “service as a resolution.” He described Modi as a global leader working for the welfare of humanity.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called the event a “memorable experience” for the people of Delhi, adding that it offered a closer look at the Prime Minister’s personal and political journey. Minister Kapil Mishra said the production went beyond cultural performance, presenting Modi’s life as an inspiration and a call to patriotism.
