Amid reports linking Covid-19 vaccination to infertility among populations of reproductive age, the government today clarified that there was no scientific evidence to this effect.

“The Health Ministry has clarified earlier that none of the available vaccines affects fertility, as all vaccines are tested first on animals and later in humans to assess if they have any such side effects. Vaccines are authorised for use only after their safety is assured,” a statement said. — TNS
