North West Delhi MP Yogender Chandolia highlighted the severe waterlogging plaguing the entire Rohtak Road area from Tikri Kalan to Peeragarhi Chowk in the Lok Sabha today.

During the zero hour, Chandolia criticised the Delhi Government and Municipal Corporation, accusing them of failing to address the city’s recurring waterlogging problems.

“The situation of waterlogging in Delhi, particularly in North West Delhi, has reached a critical point,” said Chandolia. “The entire Rohtak Road area, including major stretches from Tikri Kalan to Peeragarhi Chowk, is submerged, causing immense hardship to the residents,” he added.

Chandolia called for immediate intervention from the Central Government, urging the minister concerned to take action. “The Delhi Government and Municipal Corporation have completely failed to manage this issue,” he stated. “I demand that the Central Government steps in to resolve this problem, especially in North West Delhi, where the situation is particularly dire,” he added.

The MP’s statements reflect growing frustration among Delhi residents, who have repeatedly faced challenges due to poor drainage and infrastructure issues during the monsoon season.
