NSUI national president Varun Choudhary on Tuesday joined the ‘Ek kadam Gandhi ke saath’ padyatra as it reached Rajghat, marking the culmination of a 1,000-km march that began on October 2 from Sarv Seva Sangh in Varanasi. The padyatra, centred on preserving peace, justice, equality and constitutional values, arrived in Delhi on the eve of Samvidhan Diwas.

Choudhary launched a strong attack on the Modi government, saying, “This government is systematically targeting Gandhian and Nehruvian institutions. They are deploying bulldozers on institutions built by our freedom fighters and handing them over to Adani, Ambani. This is an assault on India’s soul,” he said.
