According to the Delhi Police, a group calling itself “Terrorist 111” sent emails to DAV Public School, Faith Academy, Doon Public School, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, among others demanding $25,000. The same group had also allegedly demanded $5,000 in cryptocurrency after sending bomb threats to several schools on August 18.

The email stated: “We have breached your IT systems, extracted student and staff data and damaged all security cameras. We are monitoring your activities in real-time. Transfer 2,000 USD to the Ethereum address within 48 hours, or we will detonate a bomb.”

However, after a thorough search, nothing suspicious was found, an official said.
