A total of 18 complaints were placed before the committee, of which, the CM resolved 14 cases on the spot, while directing to keep four pending till the next meeting.

Today, the case of Pramod Kumar, a resident of Devat Colony, came back up. He had also moved the committee in July, complaining that a 24-foot-wide street in his colony had been illegally encroached upon by a neighbour. The accused had allegedly been occupying 12 feet of the road for the past 16 years, restricting access to the complainant's home. At that time, the CM had directed the Gurugram Municipal Corporation Commissioner and committee member Priyavrat Kataria to visit the site, investigate and take action as per rules. On Friday, the complainant informed that after action by the MC, the encroachment had been removed. He expressed his gratitude to the CM for resolving a 16-year-old grievance.

The Surya Vihar Resident Welfare Association had complained about unsafe electricity infrastructure in the colony at the July meet. They said the wires were over 30 years old, hanging dangerously low, and several dilapidated poles were obstructing traffic, posing a safety hazard during the monsoon. Following the CM’s directions, the DHBVN got all the old wires changed and replaced the damaged poles with new ones. The RWA thanked the CM for ensuring timely redressal of their complaint.

Residents of Orris Society, Sector 85, raised the issue of a 24-m-wide road connecting their society’s main road to the Dwarka Expressway being blocked by some encroachers. This forced residents, including schoolchildren, to use a narrow and unsafe route, increasing the risk of accidents. Taking serious note, the CM directed the officials concerned to take immediate action.
