The Prime Minister will first inaugurate 1,675 newly constructed flats for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) at Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar, a part of the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project. The event will also see the distribution of keys to eligible beneficiaries. This project, undertaken by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), aims to provide better living conditions for residents of Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters. Beneficiaries will pay a nominal contribution of Rs 1.42 lakh for the flats, which have been built with modern amenities and proper facilities. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to its ‘Housing for All’ mission.

Around 12:45 pm on Friday, the Prime Minister will inaugurate two urban redevelopment projects - World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar and General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar. The WTC project, replacing over 600 dilapidated quarters, will offer 34 lakh square feet of premium commercial space equipped with green building features such as solar energy generation, rainwater harvesting and zero-discharge system. Similarly, the GPRA project consists of 28 towers with more than 2,500 modern residential units designed with eco-friendly features such as sewage and water treatment plants.

PM Modi will also inaugurate the CBSE’s Integrated Office Complex at Dwarka, constructed at a cost of Rs 300 crore. The building includes an auditorium, data centre and a comprehensive water management system. Designed to high environmental standards, it has earned the Platinum Rating from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
