Saksham Indraprastha conducted Prant Karyakarta training camp recently at the Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University in Katwaria Sarai, New Delhi. Saksham (Samadrishti, Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal) is a national organisation which works for the welfare of persons

with disabilities.

Special invitee JS Titiyal, Chief of RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences & Dean at AIIMS, served as the chief guest and provided valuable insights into eye donation, eye care, research and initiatives in the field. He launched the Eye Donation Awareness Fortnight by releasing promotional leaflets. aiming to increase awareness and participation in eye donation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
