The police said a PCR call was received at Keshav Puram PS around 1.05 am on October 26, reporting that a woman had been found hanging at a house. They found the woman, identified as Sushma Sharma, lying dead inside a single-room accommodation. Her husband Dinesh Sharma, who works as a priest at a Shiva temple in Kanhaiya Nagar, confessed to killing her by pressing a pillow on her face and then strangling her following frequent domestic quarrels.
