Pvt school teacher raped for 4 years; FIR registered

A shocking case of rape, blackmail, assault and forced abortion under the pretext of marriage has come to light in the Bhondsi Police Station area of Gurugram, involving a female teacher at a private school.

The teacher has levelled serious allegations against an academy operator, accusing him of drugging and raping her, threatening to leak obscene videos and photos, assaulting her, extorting Rs 1 lakh and coercing her into an abortion. An FIR has been registered at Bhondsi Police Station.

According to the complaint, the victim, a widow who lives in the Bhondsi area with her son and works as a teacher at a private school, met Ajit Pratap Singh Kushwaha, a resident of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in 2021. The two became acquainted while working at the school and later Ajit opened his own academy.

“It was on November 6, 2021, Ajit asked me to drop him at his academy. I dropped him there, where he offered me a cold drink laced with an intoxicant. I became semi-unconscious and he forcibly rape me while promising to marry me. Later, when I asked him about marriage, he flatly refused. He threatened to leak my obscene photos and videos on social media. After that, Ajit continued having physical relations with me,” the victim stated in her complaint.

“In 2022, Ajit asked me to send my son to my maternal home and live with him, but I refused. He also blackmailed me and took Rs1 lakh from me. In October 2024, when I became pregnant, Ajit lied and gave me pills, which caused an abortion. I also had to leave the school. Eventually, I informed my family, who then took me to the police,” she added.

Following the complaint, an FIR has been registered at Bhondsi Police Station. A senior police officer confirmed that an investigation is underway and the accused will be arrested soon.
