Qazi Mohd Khan is AICC in charge of Delhi
The Congress appointed a new team for Delhi ahead of the next year’s Assembly polls on Sunday night.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge named Qazi Mohammad Khan as the new AICC in charge for New Delhi.
Khan, who had won the Manglaur Assembly bypoll in Uttarakhand in July this year, will replace Deepak Babaria who was handling Delhi along with Haryana.
The Congress also set up a screening committee to shortlist candidates for the 2025 elections appointing former MP Meenakshi Natarajan as chairperson and Saharanpur MP Imran Masood and Pradeep Narwal, who recently lost the Bawani Khera poll from Haryana, as members.
