The recovery as a percentage of gross non-performing assets moderated to 12.8 per cent in 2020-21 from 15.8 per cent in the previous fiscal year against the backdrop of the pandemic, MoS for Finance Bhagwat K Karad said on Monday.
As per RBI data on global operations, he said, scheduled commercial banks have recovered an amount of Rs 4,18,687 crore during the last three financial years. — PTI
