Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva denounced CM Arvind Kejriwal for what he deemed as misleading statements regarding sports facility development and the stalled construction of a sports university, announced in June 2021 with Karnam Malleswari as VC.

“It’s shocking to see CM Kejriwal talk about sports development while Delhi’s youth suffer due to the lack of infrastructure,” Sachdeva said.

He accused Kejriwal of “mastering the art of lying and selling false dreams”, highlighting the absence of progress on the promised sports university in Mundka.

“The CM should apologise to the youth for failing to initiate construction of Sports University,” Sachdeva added.
