The GD Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, has launched Delhi NCR’s first electric school bus pilot programme in partnership with VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV). The pilot programme will feature the Eicher Skyline Pro E 3012, a premium electric school bus designed to provide top-tier safety and comfort. The initiative aims to evaluate the operational efficiency of electric buses, including charging cycles, maintenance, and student satisfaction, with the goal of eventually transitioning the entire school bus fleet to 100 percent electric. Nipun Goenka, Managing Director of GD Goenka Group, said, “We believe this is a critical step in fostering environmental stewardship among our students.”
