Sheesh Mahal scam major factor in Kejri’s defeat: Delhi BJP chief

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva expressed shock at the continued defense of the Sheesh Mahal construction scam by AAP leaders. He called the scandal a major factor in Arvind Kejriwal’s electoral defeat, further deepening the distance between the AAP and the public.

He said the party’s credibility had already been eroded due to other controversies, including liquor policy, panic button installation and school room construction.

Sachdeva said once the BJP forms the government in Delhi, it would initiate a thorough police investigation into the Sheesh Mahal scam as well as other scandals involving liquor policy and panic button project. He emphasised that senior legal experts would be appointed to ensure proper legal proceedings.

Sachdeva challenged AAP leaders, urging them to show some sense of morality and apologise to the people of Delhi for their involvement in the Sheesh Mahal scam and the liquor policy scandal.
