A Delhi Fire Service officer said they received a call at 9.45 pm on Tuesday from the Jwala Puri area in Nangloi about a fire in a residential building. After getting information, three fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

When the firemen reached the spot, they found a building engulfed in flames. They noticed that six persons had already jumped from the second floor in a desperate attempt to save their lives.

In a video, confirmed by the Fire Department, people could be seen jumping from the ill-fated building as the locals stood on the road helping the injured and trying to catch them.
