The accused, identified as Aftab Alam, is involved in multiple cases of snatching and robbery, and also a murder case. According to the police, based on information about his presence in Rohini area, a trap was laid and the suspect was seen riding a black two-wheeler. On being signalled to stop, he opened fire at the special staff team which, in self defence, also fired and a bullet hit the accused’s leg leading to his arrest, an official said.
