In a significant administrative reshuffle within Delhi Police, senior IPS officer Rajeev Ranjan Singh (RR Singh) has been assigned additional responsibilities as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Commissioner. Devesh Chandra Srivastava has been promoted to the rank of DGP.

According to an official notification, Rajeev Ranjan Singh (IPS: 2010: AGMUT), who is currently serving as Additional Commissioner of Police, Northern Range, will now also hold the charge of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi.

This is in addition to his current duties, highlighting the trust placed in his administrative acumen and operational experience.

Singh’s new assignment comes at a time when the Delhi Police is intensifying efforts in maintaining law and order in the national capital, and his dual role is expected to bring greater synergy to police operations.
