Stray cattle pose risk to commuters
The number of stray cattle has significantly increased over the past few years. Their presence on road poses a risk to their own lives as well as to commuters. Besides, a majority of these animals can be seen feeding on civic waste, which often includes plastic and non-biodegradable items dumped in the open. The government must come up with a long-term plan to curb stray cattle menace without violating animal rights. Ajay Bahl, Faridabad
