In her complaint, his mother Geeta Devi said she received a call from the school informing her that her son had been attacked and taken to hospital. “When I asked my son, he said that Shivam, a student of his school, and one of his friends had attacked him. It was around 1.30 pm when he came out of the school; a youth accompanying Shivam pulled a small, sharp knife from his pocket and stabbed Utkarsh in the chest and arm. As blood began to flow, the two attackers fled the spot,” she said.

“An FIR has been registered against Shivam and another person, and we are investigating,” said Inspector Randhir Singh, SHO of Dabua Police Station.
