Tentage Scam: Delhi L-G VK Saxena recommends strict action against officials
New Delhi, January 17
Delhi Lieutenant-Governor VK Saxena has recommended strict action against three officials of the Revenue Department, GNCTD, for their alleged involvement in gross misconduct related to the allotment of tentage work worth Rs 23.40 crore for Kanwar Camps in the national capital in 2022.
The officials under scrutiny include the then SDM (HQ) RR Singh, Section Officer Sanjay Kumar Madan and Junior Assistant Anurag.
The L-G’s recommendation follows a factual report submitted by the Chief Secretary, outlining irregularities in awarding tentage work for Kanwar Camps by the Caretaking Branch of the Revenue Department.
