Two arrested for online housing, furniture fraud

The police have also seized four mobile phones used in the fraud from both the accused.
According to the police, the arrested accused have been identified as Parvez, a resident of Nangla Ahsanpur village in Palwal district, and Toshif, a resident of Kherli Gumani village in Deeg district in Rajasthan. An FIR was registered against them at Pinangwa Police Station.
“Both the accused used to dupe people by posting fake housing apps and furniture advertisements on social media. They used to lure people to pay for non-existent properties and goods through false advertisements.
The mobiles recovered from the accused are being explored to bust the fraud racket. We are questioning the accused,” said Krishan Kumar, the spokesperson of Nuh police.
