The cab driver told the police that he received a request to ferry passengers from Bhondsi to the airport. He said three young men boarded the cab and he drove off towards the airport.

“Upon reaching Sector 69, they asked me to stop the cab to purchase liquor. One of the occupants, told me that he had left his passport behind. Thus, they changed the ride’s destination. One of the accused covered my face with a cloth and threw me out of the cab. They fled away with my car and a mobile phone,” stated the cab driver in his complaint.

“The accused were trying to sell the robbed car and mobile phone, but the police caught them before they could do so. We are questioning the accused,” said a spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
