The weapons used in the crime — a pair of scissors and a stone — have also been recovered.
According to the police, the body was discovered on August 4 after a call alerted the Heli Mandi police chowki about a body lying in the school washroom. A police team found the body bearing multiple injury marks. Based on a complaint filed by a school lecturer, an FIR was registered at the Pataudi police station.
The victim was identified as Karan, alias Tinda (20), a resident of Jatauli village. His body was handed over to his family after postmortem.
Acting on leads, a police team led by ASI Pradeep Kumar arrested two suspects from Gurugram on Thursday. The accused have been identified as Akash, alias Gullu (21), and Shiv Kumar (21), both from Jatauli.
“Initial investigation revealed that Akash attacked Karan with scissors while Shiv Kumar hit him with a stone. They later hid the body in the school. The motive behind the murder is still unclear and both accused are being interrogated,” said a Gurugram police spokesperson.
