Two killed after being hit by speeding truck

The truck driver managed to flee along with his vehicle. An FIR was registered at Farrukhnagar police station.
According to the police, the incident took place between Badli and Farrukhnagar in the wee hours on Wednesday when three persons were headed to Gujarat in a mini-truck which was loaded
with copper.
According to the complaint filed by Mukesh, a resident of district Kotputli-Behror in Rajasthan, he along with his cousin Atul Kumar and Pintu, was on his way from Sonepat in Haryana to Gujarat.
At around 2 am on Wednesday, Atul Kumar, who was driving the minitruck, stopped to urinate.
“When all three of us were urinating behind our vehicle, a speeding truck coming from Badli side hit us and the mini-truck,” Mukesh said in his complaint. “Due to the collision, Atul Kumar and Pintu got badly injured while I escaped narrowly. Both the injured were rushed to the hospital with the help of the police where doctors declared them dead,” he added.
An FIR was registered under relevant sections of the BNS at Farrukhnagar police station.
A senior officer said that bodies were handed over to the kin after the postmortem and they were trying to nab the accused truck driver.
