UP man stabbed after altercation

The victim has been identified as Amit Saini (24), a resident of Behta Hazipur, Loni, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police, the incident took place on the intervening night of August 22 and 23. A call regarding the incident was received at the Harsh Vihar police station, following which a team rushed to the spot.
By the time the police reached the spot, the injured was already shifted to GTB Hospital by a PCR van. He is undergoing treatment at the hospital. The forensic team also inspected the crime scene and collected evidence.
In his statement, Amit alleged that he had an altercation with a person named Aman on August 22 evening. Later, while he was on his was from Partap Nagar to Behta Hazipur, Aman’s brother Karan intercepted him near the main road at B-Block and stabbed him before fleeing the spot. Based on his statement, a case has been registered. The police said teams had been deployed to trace and apprehend the accused.
