As per official data, 1,587 students had completed their payment formalities by 10 pm, with the window for fee submission kept open until midnight. The mop-up round was particularly significant as it gave one last chance to candidates who had either missed earlier deadlines or had not been allotted seats during previous rounds.
On the concluding day, admissions to the BA programme were conducted. Officials noted that the enthusiasm of applicants highlighted the enduring appeal of DU’s undergraduate programmes.
So far, the university has confirmed a total of 1,977 admissions across all rounds, with the mop-up round adding substantially to these figures.
The mop-up round, officials emphasised, was designed to ensure that as many seats as possible got filled before the commencement of the new academic session.
