RAMPANT encroachments on roads and public spaces in Faridabad has led to severe traffic issues, with little intervention from the authorities. A major bottleneck has developed between Ambedkar Chowk and Panchayat Bhawan in Ballabgarh, where hawkers and vendors occupy roads and green belts, causing frequent traffic jams. Instances of buses and even ambulances getting caught in these jams are common. Police, when contacted, often shift responsibility to civic officials, leaving the traffic unmanaged. This lack of coordinated action among authorities has left residents concerned that the situation will deteriorate further if left unaddressed.
