Woman, two daughters found dead in Delhi’s Karawal Nagar

A 28-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged 7 and 5, were found dead in their home in Northeast Delhi’s Karawal Nagar area in the wee hours of Saturday, the police said.

The husband of the deceased, who is suspected to have killed them, is absconding, they added.

As per the police, a call regarding the death of a woman and her two daughters was received at Karawal Nagar police station. On reaching the spot, a police team found the bodies of a woman and her two daughters in their room, an official said.

Crime and FSL teams reached the spot to collect evidence and examined the crime scene to gather clues, the official added.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem and police teams have been formed to trace the husband of the deceased, he said

A case under Section 103(1) (murder) of BNS has been registered at Karawal Nagar police station and further investigation is under way, the official said.
