The body of a young man was found near a footpath along the outer road in the IMT Manesar area on Wednesday morning. Preliminary investigation indicated that the man had died from severe injuries to the head and face. The deceased has not yet been identified. An FIR of murder has been registered at IMT Manesar police station.

According to the police, information was received around 8 am that a man was lying in a pool of blood in front of Plot No. 139 in Sector 7, IMT Manesar. A police team reached the spot and found the body near a roadside drain, where bloodstains were also visible. The body was taken into custody and sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.

Police showed the body to workers in nearby factories, but no one could identify the deceased. It is suspected that the murder took place between 1 am and 3 am, as the area remains deserted at night.

“Efforts are underway to identify the deceased. Missing persons’ lists have been sought from nearby police stations. The case is being investigated by examining CCTV footage from the area,” said ASI Subhash, the investigating officer.
