The US Embassy in India has warned visa holders to strictly adhere to established immigration rules, cautioning that failure to do so could lead to visa revocation and deportation.

In a post on the social media platform X, the embassy stated, “Visa screening does not stop after a visa is issued. We continuously check visa holders to ensure they follow all U.S. laws and immigration rules – and we will revoke their visas and deport them if they don’t.”
