Himanshu Malhotra is in news for his recent performance, as Major Rajeev Kapoor, in Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer Shershaah. The actor, who has ruled television for years, has put in a commendable performance in the film and the audience as well as critics have praised his work. Himanshu has a number of important scenes in the film.

Says Himanshu, “I am so happy that my role has been appreciated by the audience. Accolades have been pouring in from all corners. People from various cities across the world have commented on my authentic looks; that’s a very warm feedback and also close to my heart. While shooting the film, I had a great time. And now when people are appreciating my work, it feels

even better.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
